Looking for the right person to care for an 85 year old man with mild dementia. He is a warm and happy soul and the right person will have a similiar demeanor. The right person will have good communication skills and just share past and every day life conversations. We ask that you are drug free, be willing to have a background check and or have a fingerprint clearance card, be kind and caring and at the same time be able to place firm boundaries. General house cleaning is required (dishes, floors, bathroom, dusting, change bed sheets, etc.) and we ask that you have the ability to learn and play board games and cards, be punctual and reliable, and are able to follow directions carefully and ask questions and communicate daily, must be able to go for a walk daily for roughly 20-30 minutes at a near by park or around the neighborhood. Daily meal records and blood pressure records are required. First aid and CPR are preferred. I am willing to pay for this if you need to take the course. If you are comfortable with helping in the shower, then his back, hair and feet need assistance, but this can be discussed. Must have references and be willing to supply prior work experience (Resume) and phone numbers to validate past employment. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. We pay cash via Zelle or check weekly. Pay day is on Saturdays. You are responsible for your doing your own taxes.
